WHAT'S ON

Australian Jewish Choral Festival

Australian Jewish Choral Festival - Joshua JacobsonJewish Arts proudly presents the second biennial festival event, this time over the long weekend, 7-9 June 2014. The exciting faculty for the 2014 festival includes Jewish choral maestro, Professor Joshua Jacobson (pictured). Also joining the faculty is the much loved Jewish rock star Sam Glaser, and none other than conductor Russell Ger, now living in New York and working in the United States, returning to Sydney especially for the second AJCF.

While featuring Instant Choirs like last time, the format changes this year to include:
- 'Big Sing's, where the entire festival contingent gets to sing with each of the guest conductors
- Choir Showcases, where many of Sydney's Jewish choirs give brief performances
- Opportunities for everyone to play a part in the performance at the gala concert with Sam Glaser and a rocking band.
- A Teen Program

Singers of all skill levels welcome .... there is something for everyone.
