Come and engage with Amir Tibon, Israeli journalist at Ha’aretz, who will speak about “Society, culture and elections - the future for Progressive Jewish values in Israel” on
Monday 15 March at 7.00pm (Melbourne/Sydney time).
Amir has served as the Washington correspondent for Ha’aretz, covering the far-right march in Charlottesville, Virginia, the anti-semitic attack on the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, and the 2020 presidential election. He lives in Kibbutz Nahal Oz, the closest place in Israel to Gaza, with his wife and daughter.
The event will be held both in person at Temple Beth Israel in Melbourne and Emanuel Synagogue in Sydney, and via Zoom.
Both TBI and Emanuel Synagogue have COVID-safe policies and practices.
