October 7: Reflections, Commemoration and Hope

UPJ Co-President Danny Hochberg wrote: As we prepare to commemorate October 7, in our communities, we will reflect on a year that has changed forever, both in Israel and the situation of Jews worldwide. So momentous was the chasm, that it is now common to divide our understanding of the world into pre- and -post October 7. The UPJ has prepared a special commemorative e-newsletter “October 7: Reflections, Commemoration and Hope” featuring essays and reflections from members of the UPJ Progressive community.

Artwork: “Light in the Darkness” by Maureen Barten. The past year has held so much darkness – but even in all of it – we – as a people – always hold hope; always find the light.
