Take Action: Protect the Kotel for All Jews 

A proposed Kotel Bill in Israel would give the ultra-Orthodox Chief Rabbinate sweeping authority over the Western Wall — including the power to criminalise non-Orthodox and egalitarian prayer, with penalties of up to seven years in prison.

This threatens the religious freedom of Israelis and Jews around the world, undermining the vision of Israel’s Declaration of Independence and the Kotel as a place of unity for all Jewish people. At a time when unity is needed most, this legislation is deeply concerning and divisive.
